Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Telephone Triage Nurse to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for providing telephonic triage services to patients, assessing their symptoms and determining the appropriate course of action.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct telephonic assessments of patients' symptoms and provide appropriate medical advice and treatment recommendations.

- Utilize clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient triage.

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

- Document all patient interactions and triage outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record system.

- Provide patient education and support to promote self-care and prevention.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on current healthcare practices and protocols.

- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements:

- Active nursing license in good standing.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in triage or emergency care.

- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems.

- Familiarity with telehealth and virtual care is a plus.
